Hanks & Howard Return

Sony's "Angels & Demons" has theatres all to itself this weekend, but will grosses be sacred or sacrilege? Well, most everyone is in agreement that this film lacks the liftoff power of Dan Brown's ultra-successful "The Da Vinci Code," but most reviewers are in agreement that this is actually a better film. No doubt, Tom Hank's 'do' is an improvement over his Ape Drape--or Canadian Passport if you prefer.

Odds are this film will come in somewhere between $55-60 million for the 3-day weekend, which is definitely very strong, although no where near the $77 million the original raked in three years ago.

Also playing a big factor will be the crew of the Enterprise. "Star Trek" has been playing out-of-this-world during the week, so expect stellar results again this weekend and possibly a drop of just 50%.
